We've been busy this summer!

Recently Two Rivers garden has been hard at work with their summer garden!

Two Rivers participated in a seedling sale where they pre-sold a "Garden in a Tray". Thanks to generous supporters and donors, Two Rivers garden was able to raise over $650.

Two Rivers received the Farm Bureau's "Agriculture in the Classroom" grant this year. This grant has allowed Two Rivers to focus on teaching kids about season extension techniques such as starting seeds indoors, or the construction of cold frames and low tunnels.

Two Rivers will also be one of the stops on the High Country Farm Tour on July 16th! Be sure to stop by for a tour and to say hi! To read more about the farm tour or to see what other gardens and farms are on the tour click here.

Finally, Two Rivers, like many other community and school gardens have their least amount of volunteer help during the summer months. Therefore, the school is hoping that your family will be able to help! To sign up to help water, weed, or harvest the garden for any amount of time this summer, click the button below.
