Mountain Pathways Montessori School

Mountain Pathways is located on Howard’s Creek Road, just off Highway 194 less than 2 miles north of New Market Centre in Boone.

The campus is bordered by over 130 feet of the gently rolling waters of Howard’s Creek, and spans over three beautiful acres. The toddlers and primary classes have their own fenced playgrounds with state-of-the-art climber equipment, and the elementary age students have loads of open grassy space near the creek to engage in planned and independent play each day.

Farm Camp

Mountain Pathways Garden Blog
Our innovative summer program serves children ages 6-15. It models a micro farm complete with a greenhouse, raised beds, fruiting trees and shrubs, and large production garden. Students serve community members by working with The Hospitality House and Farm C.A.F.E. What's Growing

Currently, we are! We will be growing herbs and cut flowers, a variety of fresh vegetables such as squash and peppers, and a mix of lettuces and greens. This is our first year so we invite you to come and watch our progress!
