NC Green Schools and Lettuce Learn Invite you to attend a School Gardens Workshop Monday, July 10, 2017 10AM - 4PM Parkway School in Boone, NC Cultivating Community, Saving Seeds and Growing Ideas in your School Garden Learn how to maximize volunteer support, involve the community in your school garden, and how to effectively prep materials and schedule garden activities. Plus, tap into the expertise of local cooperative extension agents as they share tips for incorporating container gardens and perennials in the school garden. Participants will also take home quick and easy "back pocket" activities and seed saving techniques that will boost confidence and help ensure school garden success. Presenters include:
