Blowing Rock School Garden

We have started reworking an old garden area beside the basket ball hoops.  The ground was compacted so Oliver worked on breaking it up with the broad fork (and a little help from his dad)!  Ben planted some kale and lettuce for the fall.

About the Garden

We have just begun the conversation about our school garden.  There is a lot of enthusiasm from teachers and parents alike and we are excited about planning and preparing the space for planting this spring.

What's Growing?

Right now we have apple trees and a pollinator garden, but there will soon be more!
