School Garden Garlic ready to plant thanks to Sustainable Development Teaching & Research Farm

Brooke Kornegay, Farm Manager at the The Goodnight Family Sustainable Development Teaching & Research Farm donated over 6 pounds of garlic to Lettuce Learn.  

We will distribute the garlic to school gardens throughout our network. Kids will help plant the cloves this fall and be able to watch it grow into garlic scapes and new garlic bulbs next spring and summer.

A huge shout out to Brooke and all the great students and faculty who make the SD farm flourish!
