About the Garden
Typical garden days have included clearing weeds, planting seeds, watering, solo-sits, and recording sketches and observations into personal garden journals. Sixth graders in science teacher Elissa Brown’s class have also started seeds in the classroom for transplanting. They have been painting garden labels with art teacher Kelly Snyder, and over the next weeks will be undertaking a science-art collaboration to compile an illustrated garden guide for the school.
